All along the winter months you can enjoy nature by practising downhill skiing at Cerler Ski Resort, cross-country skiing at the plains Llanos del Hospital, ski touring, snowshoeing, dog sledding or even trying out speed riding.

Ribagorza region offers a wide range of outdoor snow activities, you just have to choose the one that you like the most.

Ribagorza region counts with forty-five peaks higher than three thousand meters such as Aneto (3,404 m.) or Vallibierna (3,056 m.). In the inner part there are Cotiella peak (2,912 m.) and Turbón massif (2,492 m.), at the south there is the mountain range known as Montsec de Éstall, in here you will also find Montfalcó hanging walkway and Finestras natural wall.

You can do outdoor activities such as hiking, rock climbing, caving, MTB, and horseback riding trails. We suggest you to visit Ribargoza tourism website, in there you will find lots of information, and you can see several trails spread all around the region by using an interactive map viewer.

If you prefer mountain races, then you will love Aneto-Posets Trail and Montañas de Benasque Great Marathon. In the case where you prefer road bikes or MTB, we suggest you Puertos de la Ribagorza bicycle touring ride, it both starts and finishes in Graus village.

Ribagorza region is featured in its great natural wealth. You may prefer to discover it from another point of view, from the heights, at the very heart of the Pyrenees, by flying over their mountains on an ultralight aircraft or on a paraglider.

The village Castejón de Sos is one of the most beautiful and breath-taking free flight places in the world, and also one of the most important places in Spain for going paragliding.

At Ribagorza region you can also do outdoor water sports. You can sail on the calm waters of Barasona, Linsoles, Canelles and Escales reservoirs.

If you prefer an adrenaline-pumping activity, we suggest you to try out a canyoning trail such as Liri’s twelve waterfalls, Aigüeta de Barbaruens, and Caligar river’s mountain pass among others. Besides canyoning, you can also go for white water sports such as rafting, hydrospeed and kayaking all along Ésera, Isábena and Noguera Ribagorzana rivers.

Mountain fishermen will find, in this region, unique places for fishing thanks to the great environmental quality of the Pyrenees rivers; such as the reservoirs and rivers named above.
